The Education Ministry has released a new examination timetable for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM), Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) and the International Language Achievement Test (UPBA).
The previous schedule is rendered annulled.
In a circular to the state education departments nationwide signed by Malaysian Examination Syndicate director Datuk Pkharuddin Ghazali, it stated the examinations would be held between January and March next year.
It said the SPM examination's schedule is from Feb 22 to Mar 25; SVM is from Jan 20 to Feb 22; STAM is from Feb 22 to Mar 3 and UPBA on Feb 23.
"The rescheduling of SPM, SVM, STAM and UPBA examinations is in line with the announcement by the Senior Education Minister on Nov 8 to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
"The amendments are to ensure the safety, health, and readiness of the candidates as well as the examination staff involved."
