Italy Maturity 2022, the ordinance of the Ministry: two writings, oral and news on the vote

These were not easy months for final year students: between advances, requests and various over-the-counter of the MI, the ordinance regulating the entire development of the 2022 maturity was only published on March 14 . With the order, the Minister of Education Patrizio Bianchi confirms both the writings (first and second tests) and the oral interview divided into three phases.
FIRST AND SECOND MATURITY TEST 2022
The first test will take place on June 22nd and the tracks will be ministerial. The MI will produce 7 identical tracks for all graduates, divided into 3 types:
- Type A, two traces of text analysis ;
- Type B, three traces of argumentative text (one of these will necessarily have a historical context);
- Type C, two traces of a topical theme .

The second test concerns the main subjects , but the traces will be formulated internally by the commissions and will be the same for all students of the same study field within the same institute.
ORAL MATURITY 2022
The interview will open with the analysis of a material chosen by the commission (a text, a document, a problem, a project) that will be submitted to the candidate. It continues with the verification of civic education skills; and finally the presentation of the experiences made in the context of the Pathways for transversal skills and PCTO orientation. The commission will consist of six internal commissioners and an external president .
THE VOTE
The final grade will be composed differently from what was anticipated. Here are the assessments decided in the last draft of the ordinance:
- maximum 15 points for the first test;
- maximum 10 for the second;
- 25 points for the oral .
