Jordan Education Ministry announces results of 2024 Tawjihi complementary session

The Ministry of Education on Thursday announced the results of the complementary General Secondary Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) for 2024.

A total of 83,223 students registered for the session, with 70,864 seeking to complete their pass requirements and 12,359 aiming to improve their overall average scores, the Jordan News Agency, reported. 

Of the registered candidates, 72,630 students attended the exams, with 41,957 meeting the minimum pass requirements, resulting in a pass rate of 57.8 per cent.

A total of 63,499 students from the academic stream sat for the exams, with 36,034 passing, representing a pass rate of 56.7 per cent. 

Meanwhile, 9,131 students from the vocational stream participated, with 5,923 passing, achieving a higher pass rate of 64.9 per cent.
