Leaving Certificate results to be released on 22 August

This year's Leaving Certificate results will be released on Friday, 22 August, the State Examinations Commission has announced.
The SEC said this is in line with the date of issue of the results last year.
It said additional time continues to be needed for the application of a post-marking adjustment.
These are additional marks that are added to results following the completion of the main marking of papers.
The results will issue to candidates through the Candidate Self Service Portal available at examinations.ie and on gov.ie/leavingcertificate and to school authorities through the SEC's Schools Portal.
