A total of 269,031 candidates educated in public and private institutions obtained their baccalaureate for the 2021 edition, i.e. a success rate of 81.83%, up compared to the year before (79, 62%), indicated the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research.

This rate was 87.81% in the literature and original education streams, while it rose to 89.52% for the international baccalaureate and 74.97% for students in the vocational stream (6,268 candidates ).
Regarding the candidates with disabilities who benefited from the adaptation of the tests and the correction conditions, 81.49% of them took up the challenge successfully, when 65,626 free candidates obtained the title bachelor's degree (56.51%).
