The Ministries of Education and the Interior are launching, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8, and running until February 10, 2025, a national campaign in public and private high schools to enable candidates for the 2026 baccalaureate session to obtain their national identity card, according to a pre-established schedule, the Ministry of Education indicated in its press release.

The Ministry of the Interior called, in a separate statement, on all students enrolled in the 3rd year of secondary school who do not hold a national identity card to prepare all the necessary documents.

These documents consist of a birth certificate from the civil status registers, a certificate of Tunisian nationality, a certificate of residence, a certificate of school attendance, 3 identity photos of the student, a receipt for payment of tax stamp (3 dinars) and a legalized and motivated authorization from the guardian for obtaining the identity card (professional, educational, sporting or physical reason) for students under 18 years old, according to the same press release.
