Turkmenistan accedes to the 1997 Convention on the Recognition of qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region

On 15 February 2023, Turkmenistan deposited with the Director-General its instrument of accession to the Convention on the Recognition of qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region (Lisbon, 11 April 1997).
In conformity with its Article XI.2, the Convention will enter into force with respect to Turkmenistan on the first day of the month following the expiration of the period of one month after the deposit of its instrument, that is to say on 1 April 2023.
