Twice-a-year CBSE boards from 2024-25 session

Students who commence their class X and XII from the 2024-25 academic session will be the first batch to get the opportunity to sit for the multiple board format.

Students who commence their class X and XII from the 2024-25 academic session will be the first batch to get the opportunity to sit for the multiple board format. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the first multiple board exams — barring the one instance in 2021 when the exam had to be split into two due to Covid-19 — from 2025, according to a senior official at the ministry of education.
