Our schools offer exceptional academics, arts integration, dual language biliteracy, leadership, career and technical education, sports and athletics, a distinguished fine arts program, special education services, IB? International Baccalaureate programmes, enrichment, social & emotional learning, and more.

We’re located in southern Williamson County and northwest Travis County. Our District boundaries include the City of Round Rock, portions of the City of Austin, and the City of Cedar Park.

35 Elementary Schools

Welcome to our schools.
Our elementary schools serve students PreK through grade 5 with engaging, innovative programs taught by certified, supportive teachers in a caring environment.

Art Room

Recognized by the State of Texas as a District of Distinction, our Fine Arts program includes visual and performing arts at all grade levels and campuses. We have three arts integration academies,, , and elementary schools, that accept applications for transfers.

Gymnasium

Physical education is an integral part of a total educational program. Our gyms provide opportunities for fun, safe, and engaging physical activities that support a healthy mind and body.

Students receive encouragement and support in an inclusive school community where students can feel positively connected to others.

Library

Our school libraries are much more than books. They are learning hubs, each with a full range of print and electronic resources that support student achievement.

Music Room

Music education supports many kinds of learning, from language to motor skills. We have three arts integration academies,, , and elementary schools, that accept applications for transfers.

Elementary students enjoy music classes weekly.

Outdoor Space

Students can access restful and inspiring art, amphitheater, and outdoor garden spaces.

Playground

During recess, students are encouraged to be physically active and engaged with their peers in activities of their choice.

PreK Classroom
ÌúËãÅÌÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë offers full-day prekindergarten for children who are four years old on or before September 1, live in the District, and meet at least one of the Texas Education Agency eligibility requirements.
Special Education Classroom

We offer a free appropriate public education to all children ages 3 -21 who may have an orthopedic impairment, health impairment, traumatic brain injury, intellectual disability, emotional disturbance, learning disability, speech impairment, autism, or multiple disabilities. Services for students who are deaf-blind, visually impaired, or auditorily impaired begin at birth.

11 Middle Schools

Our middle schools serve students in grades 6 through 8. Our inclusive school communities offer diverse student elective choices, advanced academics and high school credit courses, distinguished fine arts, and athletic programs taught by supportive, certified teachers and attentive faculty.

Common areas offer spaces for students to visit lockers, meet up with friends, and where schools may display points of pride.

Middle school offers dance as a physical education elective.

In addition to offering traditional services, middle school libraries serve as learning hubs and homework help centers where students can use technology to find the best information resources.

Locker rooms contain lockers, restrooms and shower facilities for home teams and visitors.

7 High Schools

Student in grades 9 to 12 are served by five traditional high schools, an Early College high school and an alternative high school that offers extended campus hours and self-paced learning.

Band/Orchestra
Our high school music programs consists of marching band, harp, piano, Mariachi, and orchestra. The ÌúËãÅÌÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë music programs are highly competitive, and perform sophisticated music with complex visual performances.
Choir Room

The ÌúËãÅÌÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë music programs are welcoming and inclusive. They perform sophisticated music and compete in UIL competitions.

Career and Technical Education classrooms

Career & Technical Education helps prepare students who want to embark on a career trajectory while still in high school. Students can choose from almost 30 pathways.?.

 

Cafe Java

Java City offers convenience and an enjoyable selection of coffees, breakfast breads, and fruits.

Available at select high schools.

Cafeteria

Cafeterias offer a variety of breakfast and lunch selections daily. Students can choose popular hot or cold entrees, vegetarian options, or grab-and-go a la carte items.

Classroom
Students have eight class periods divided into A and B days. School starts at 9:05 a.m. and dismisses at 4:20 p.m.
Dance Studio

Dance is a high school elective. High schools may offer a competitive team and a dance for fitness program.

Football field

Fall football brings Friday night lights, band, and cheer squads together on the field.

Gym

Physical education is an integral part of a total educational program. Our gyms provide opportunities for fun, safe, and engaging physical activities that support a healthy mind and body.

Students may participate in team sports or PE classes.

Hallway

Main hallways are wide in order to accommodate a large amount of foot traffic – allowing students to quickly get from one class to another.

Locker and Sports Training Room

ÌúËãÅÌÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë offers more than 25 sports teams and athletic clubs.

Weight Room

Students work out and stay fit with modern equipment in clean and safe facilities.

Aquatics center pool

Special Facilities

ÌúËãÅÌÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë provides facilities geared towards promoting students’ interests and success. Performing arts students use our District’s two auditoriums and performing arts center to perform popular, high-quality productions. Athletic facilities include football stadiums and an aquatics center.
Aquatics Center

Swim, water polo, and dive teams practice and compete at the ÌúËãÅÌÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë Aquatic Center.

Auditorium

Theatre, choir, dance, jazz band, orchestra, harp, and percussion classes practice and perform in District performing arts venues.
