Presenter: Ann M. Koenig, Associate Director, ̽»¨Â¥ International
Ann M. Koenig has been an associate director with ̽»¨Â¥ since 2002. Her career path in international education includes foreign credential evaluation in professional evaluation services, campus-based work in international admissions, student records management, academic advising and transfer credit evaluation, at institutions in Wisconsin, California and Germany. Ann’s research on the educational systems of several countries, along with her writing on best practice in international admissions, document review and fraud awareness, have been published by ̽»¨Â¥ and NAFSA. She has been active as a leader and trainer/presenter in professional development activities sponsored by ̽»¨Â¥, NAFSA, NAGAP, EAIE, and other organizations in the U.S. and Europe.
Moderator: Julia Funaki, Associate Director, ̽»¨Â¥ International
Julia Funaki joined ̽»¨Â¥ in 1996, after working in international admissions and education services at American University, Ohio Wesleyan University and the University of Maryland at College Park. She has been involved with NAFSA, ̽»¨Â¥, TAICEP and other organizations, as author, presenter, committee member and chair. Julia serves on the faculty for the ̽»¨Â¥ Summer and Winter Institute.
