Beginning on Oct. 1, 2016, students will be able to fill out the FAFSA for the 2017–18 school year. (In the past, they had to wait until January 1). In addition, applicants will no longer need to estimate income and tax information and will be able to retrieve their data directly from the IRS, right from the first day the FAFSA is available. Students also will have information about their Expected Family Contributions earlier, helping them as they’re going through the college application and selection process.

Integrating Academic Operations to Unlock the Value of Your SIS Data

July 30, 2025

July 30, 2025 | 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM ET

While the Student Information System (SIS) serves as the institutional backbone for managing data, many colleges and universities struggle to tap into its full potential. Siloed processes and inaccessible data make it difficult to make student-centric decisions in areas such as scheduling, curriculum management, and assessment.

Simultaneously, Learning Management System (LMS) data plays a key role in understanding student engagement and performance. When combined, SIS and LMS data can provide a stronger foundation for improving academic outcomes and informing institutional planning.

Learn how the Coursedog platform seamlessly integrates with all major SIS and LMS systems to help institutions reduce manual work, leverage analytics, and make student-first decisions. Attendees will gain a practical understanding of how to bring data and operations together in one platform to drive better student and institutional outcomes.

This session will include:

  • How to unlock new data analytics by integrating your academic operations with your SIS and LMS
  • How to eliminate manual processes that lead to inconsistent data
  • A live platform demo followed by a Q&A session
