February marks Black History Month, presenting a welcome opportunity to bring attention to the incredible work of our Black Caucus. With over eighty members, this is one of our largest caucuses, and open to any member interested in advancing the black community in all aspects of higher education. Caucus Chair Kristy Goodwin, Director of the College Pathways Program at Governors State University, is passionate about mentoring and purpose. Goodwin hosted this month’s book club discussion. We are currently highlighting the work of Cassandra Moore, Director of Enrollment Development & Admissions at Anne Arundel Community College. Moore is a champion of diversity, access, and inclusion on her campus, with various activities and professional development opportunities organized throughout the month.
