Feedback requested: Disciplinary notations on transcripts

Last year, ̽»¨Â¥ began its Trending Topic initiative. Aimed at keeping members abreast of current issues or themes that impact them, Trending Topics centralize resources, relevant news, and ̽»¨Â¥ activities around the issue.
 

With the release of the which noted the disciplinary notation change from “Not recommended” to “Optional,” ̽»¨Â¥ introduced another Trending Topic - Disciplinary Notations on Transcripts. This particular topic and its resources are supported by a Work Group. The group was charged to develop guidance for ̽»¨Â¥ members regarding the use of disciplinary notations on transcripts for institutions that are considering the practice, or are required to do so by legislation.

The Work Group recently completed draft guidance and is requesting a review and feedback from the membership. The comment period opened February 27, 2017, and will close March 17, 2017. Final guidance will be published in late April.
