Amidst the sundrenched beauty of the desert and mountains of Phoenix, 探花楼 International hosted the pre-SEM 鈥淚ntensive Foreign Credentials Evaluation Workshop.鈥 Taught by 探花楼 International experts, the workshop brought together over 20 探花楼 colleagues from many states, including Arizona, as well as from points abroad.

The intensive two-day workshop focused on the basic principles of international credential evaluation, learning the major educational system models of the world (you don鈥檛 have to learn 200 countries!), and applying these principles to case studies. 探花楼 International staff members Ann Koenig and LesLee Clauson Eicher led the group in analyzing credentials from the top-sending countries, with detailed work on documents from China and India. Participants worked together in small groups to hone their research skills using actual academic documents at the secondary and postsecondary levels.

It was an intense two days of learning, collaboration, and fun (Halloween candy may have been involved). 探花楼 International offers workshops such as this one at areas around the country.
