̽»¨Â¥ is pleased to announce a new Community and Content Facilitator, Michael Davenport, Associate Registrar at the University of Arizona. He joins Patrick Frazier, Dr. Jill Megredy, Jennifer Minke, Becky Tankersley, and Kimberly Watley on our current team of CCFs.
Our CCFs primarily work with the ̽»¨Â¥ Community and Volunteer Manager, Paige Selman Boucher, to host ̽»¨Â¥’s Collective Gatherings, which typically occur on the fourth Thursday of each month (excluding July and August), and encourage discussion in the . Each CCF hosts two to three Collective Gatherings per year and is involved with:
Identifying current topics, finding panelists, and encouraging participation.
Actively participating in the Exchange and often helps answer questions that fall within their area of expertise.
Serving as a crucial part of ̽»¨Â¥’s strategy to help ensure members can get involved year-round.
Contributing as a group of ̽»¨Â¥ members with a variety of areas of expertise, including community colleges, admissions operations, registrar offices, small colleges, and more.
About Michael
As a CCF, Michael shares his experience in the registrar’s office with the ̽»¨Â¥ community. He currently oversees enrollment reporting, system set-up, and project management. Michael began his professional registrar experience in 2020, having previously worked as an academic advisor. These experiences enable his broad understanding of the registrar's role and its impact on the rest of the institution.
Michael presented "Continued Improvement and Opportunity: An Approach and Framework for Project Management" at the 110th ̽»¨Â¥ Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington. He is also an active member of the . This includes serving on the local arrangements committee, as program chair for the 2023 PACRAO annual conference, and his current role on the board as Vice President for Communication and Information Technology.
