The (cupa-hr) recently evaluated ̽»¨Â¥ member professions, including Chief Enrollment Management Officer, Chief
Student Admissions Officer, and Chief Student Registration/ Records Officer. Their workforce report included these findings:
This group is primarily made up of women. Approximately 69 percent of ̽»¨Â¥ professionals are women. Unlike ,
̽»¨Â¥ professionals are majority women.
People of color are underrepresented. Non-white people comprise just 21 percent of ̽»¨Â¥ members, despite making up . Among chief officers, we see much lower representation among women of color -- around 8 percent.
The Registrar position is unique. These positions see a median 7 years at the same job, 70 percent are women, and 15 percent are racial/ethnic minorities. Although the records position has some diversity at lower levels, there are few opportunities
for advancement due to longer tenure in high-level positions.
