Definitions
- Artificial intelligence (AI): Text, images, or translations generated from AI, machine learning, or similar algorithmic tools
- AI-assisted: Self-made content edited, refined, error-checked, or otherwise improved by AI.
- AI-generated: Content such as text, images, or translations created by an AI-based tool, even if substantial edits were applied after.
- Plagiarism: To steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own: use (another's production) without crediting the source.
- Ground Rules
- Originality: Ensure all work submitted is your own, representing your unique voice and ideas. ̽»¨Â¥ does not accept AI-generated content.
Contributors are permitted to submit AI-assisted content. However, contributors are responsible for verifying that all AI-assisted content adheres to all content guidelines, including compliance with all applicable intellectual property rights.
Acknowledgment and attribution: Follow your editor’s rules for acknowledging or citing AI use. If you’re uncertain, ask about it. The , , and all provide guidelines for citing AI work.
Data security and safety: Any information you share with a public AI tool is no longer private and may be used in ways you can’t control. Guard your data and thoughts vigilantly – never share sensitive, personal, or confidential information about yourself, others, or your organization with AI systems.
